The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) recently released its Phase 1 report, Washington Agriculture at a Crossroads, offering a statewide snapshot of the challenges and opportunities facing farms and ranches. Now they’re moving into Phase 2, and they’re asking for direct input from producers and workers across the industry.

If you own or manage a farm or ranch, WSDA is asking you to take 10–15 minutes to complete the Agricultural Producer Survey.

There are also survey options for others in your operation or network. Farmworkers can use this link. Agribusinesses, processors, and community partners can participate here.

There is also an information handout about the survey available, as well as advertisements with QR codes in English and Spanish for farmworkers.

The goal is to produce a final Phase 2 report with practical, actionable solutions that will be shared with policymakers and industry leaders. That means your input can directly influence decisions affecting labor, markets, and the long-term viability of agriculture in Washington.
