Level 1 - Intro to Viticulture - This course is designed for Latino employees in the field of viticulture. Taught in Spanish, the course emphasizes technical English wine terminology. The curriculum introduces students to the “whys” of the many production and management practices of wine grapes and their juices. Topics include wine industry historical perspectives, vine physiology, canopy management, soils, irrigation, nutrition, thinning, harvest, wine, marketing, and vineyard management. *Minimum of 15 students and a maximum of 30.

Level 3 - Vineyard Management and Integrated Pest Management - This course provides intensive technical instruction to prepare Latino vineyard employees as pest management scouts and to introduce them to basic vineyard economics and management. The purpose of this course is to prepare students for mid-management and management positions.  Completion of Level 1 and Level 2 courses is highly recommended. *Minimum of 15 students and maximum of 20.

Class InformationClass will be every Friday starting on November 1.  The final class will be March 13 and Graduation will be on Friday March 20th at the Clore Center.

Cancellation Policy:  Students may cancel up to 2 weeks prior to the start of class to receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee.  If cancelled within 2 weeks of the first class, the student forfeits the full registration fee.
