Under Federal law, wineries are subject to Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requirements. Mandated by sub-part A--Preventative Control Rules--each individual engaged in manufacturing, processing, packing, or holding wine (including temporary or seasonal personnel), or in the supervision thereof, must typically receive annual food safety training.  This workshop will provide an overview of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) that are expected under FDA’s regulatory jurisdiction.

Join us for an afternoon that fulfills mandated training requirements with content and instruction presented by Dr. Randy Worobo, Professor of Food Microbiology, Department of Food Science, Cornell University

There is a 35 attendee minimum for each workshop.  If minimum is not met by 7/19/19, the class may be cancelled.  If you do cancel after this date, there will be a $50 processing fee.
