Wednesday, May 8 - Red Mountain AVA, Benton City -- 9:30am (check-in) - 4:30pm

In irrigated agriculture, water is everything. Whether it’s the fundamentals of water and chemigation delivery, to the subtle nuances of timing and quantity, Washington Viticulture is defined by our water choices.  This day-long tour of Red Mountain, starting and ending at Terra Blanca in Benton City, will feature foundational information on basic irrigation system design and function, how to get the most of out of your chemigation systems, and an exploration of the latest information and technology for optimizing your irrigation scheduling for vine growth and fruit quality. *Registration does not include lunch

Thursday, May 9 - WSU Wine Science Center, Richland -- 9:00am (check-in) - 2:15pm

SO2 serves an important function in winemaking, but a solid understanding of its chemistry along with safe, legal use, is a necessity for successful application. Held at the Washington State University Wine Science Center in Richland, this half-day practical application learning session will feature SO2 chemistry, and analysis of its use in winemaking. Round out the focus by learning the microbial effects of SO2.  *Registration does not include lunch


Cancellations and refunds will be honored through Friday, April 26 at 5:00pm PST, less $50 processing fee.  

A minimum of 20 people per day is required each day.  If the minimum is not met by Friday, April 26th the event will be canceled.
