Justin Andrews Elected to Winegrowers Board Beginning in 2026
The Washington Winegrowers Association Board is pleased to announce the outcomes of board elections as determined by the membership.
Incumbents Patrick Rawn of Two Mountain Winery, John Derrick of Mercer Ranches, Inc, and Freddy Arredondo of Cave B Winery and Vineyards were all re-elected for another term effective beginning in 2026.
Justin Andrews of McKinley Springs was also elected to his first three-year term.
Andrews is a fourth-generation farmer located south of Prosser, Washington, in the Horse Heaven Hills. He lives there with his wife and three daughters. Farming has always been his passion and lifelong calling. From a young age, he could often be found asking his grandpa, Robert Andrews, to take him along on trips delivering Asian pears to downtown Seattle—those early experiences sparked his love for agriculture and connection to Washington’s farming community.
Andrews earned his Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Enology and Viticulture from Walla Walla Community College, where he gained both classroom knowledge and invaluable hands-on experience working with local wineries and vineyard crews. After graduating in 2008, he returned to the family farm and began working in irrigation—fixing leaks, managing water systems, and learning the importance of resource stewardship. Over the years, he has grown with the operation and now serve as Managing Partner of the vineyard and winery operations in Prosser and Richland.
Andrews sought a position on the board because he is passionate about advancing our state’s grape and wine industry. He believes strongly in the Association’s mission to serve growers, vintners, partners, and policymakers by providing education, advocacy, and a unified industry voice.
His goals are to help the Association continue to:
- Promote sustainable and innovative vineyard practices that protect our natural resources and support long-term industry health;
- Strengthen education and collaboration among both new and established growers, winemakers, and allied partners; and
- Support advocacy efforts that ensure Washington’s grape and wine community is represented and respected at every level.
